Use a verified account to create a link that opens without a countdown or mandatory advertising page.

Use a public HTTP or HTTPS URL. Add an internal label and an available custom code, or use a generated code. Local destinations and ambiguous formats are rejected.
Test before sharing
Open the result and check the destination. Visitors need no account. Validation is a preventive control, not proof that a destination is safe.
Download and test the QR code
Download the QR from the link dashboard and scan it before printing. It points to the short URL, so a later destination edit also affects QR visitors. For a product insert, presentation or event handout, test the final printed size and the actual destination on a phone. A working preview on your monitor does not prove a printed code will scan reliably.
Edit or disable
Destination edits are revalidated. You can set an expiration or disable the link. Disabled or expired links no longer forward visitors to the old destination.
Understand the counter
Opens are estimates and may include bots. They are not unique people counts and do not use visitor fingerprinting. Use the abuse report link for harmful destinations.
